Clomiphene citrate

Chlomiphene is a potent and selective non-steroidal fertility agent that has gained attention for its role in treating male hypogonadism. Clomiphene citrate functions chiefly as an estrogen receptor modulator, which enhances the natural production of testosterone by stimulating the pituitary gland. This process prompts the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), hormones crucial for testosterone synthesis.

Clinical studies have shown that clomiphene is effective in increasing serum testosterone levels in men. Notably, these studies indicate that clomiphene not only raises testosterone levels but also maintains or enhances fertility parameters, such as sperm production and quality. This aspect is particularly appealing to younger men wishing to preserve their reproductive capabilities while addressing symptoms associated with low testosterone, which can include fatigue, decreased libido, and muscle loss. Clomiphene is also used frequently after  testosterone use,  as post cycle treatment to restore eugonadal status.

The side effects associated with clomiphene use are generally milder and less frequent, with many patients reporting tolerability. Commonly reported side effects can include headache, nausea, or visual disturbances, but most individuals find these symptoms manageable. Though stereo - specific isomers of clomiphene are available it is unclear if product quality and clinical differences are verifiable.
